I know I’m a little slow on this but it seems like this year’s Asian University Rankings have been released!
That QS Asian University Rankings was first started in 2009, in partnership with Chosun Ilbo in Korea to rank universities in Asia.
I’ll just cover the Korean universities within the top 100^^
Seoul National University (SNU) is ranked at #4, an improvement from the rankings in 2011!
The next Korean university in the list is KAIST, ranked at #7. POSTECH follows closely at #9.
This is followed by Yonsei University in #16 position.
Korea University was ranked at #21 and Sungkyunkwan University at #24.
Hanyang University was ranked at #33, Ewha Women’s University at #40, Kyunghee University right after at #41.
Sogang University was ranked at #51, Pusan National University at #63, Inha University at #68, Hankuk (Korea) University of Foreign Studies at #69 and Kyungpook National University after it at #70.
Also, Chung-Ang University was ranked at #82 and University of Seoul at #83.
Lastly, The Catholic University of Korea was ranked at #94, University of Ulsan at #99 and Hallym University at #100, rounding up the 100s.

There was also an article talking about the improvement in the performance of Korean universities in the rankings this time. To summarise the article, it mentions that SNU has reached the highest position so far among Korean universities (at #4), and the number of Korean universities within Top 10 (there are 3 of them) is the highest, along with Hong Kong. The total number of Korean universities within the Top 300 is also 3rd highest in Asia, behind that of Japan and China.
